Btribe is one of the most disruptive GDPI preparation institute for MBA courses, specifically the 1-year and 2-year courses from top IIMs, FMS, XLRI, IITs, MDI, and other institutes/universities that offer MBA/PGDM. In a world filled with "noise" in the form of misconceptions and abundance of resources, btribe narrows down "WHAT MATTERS THE MOST" for GD/WAT/PI preparation. Decision fatigue is what slows down people's preparation -- too many transcripts, no identifiable patterns in interviews, etc. The solution? Try to minimise the randomness of the interviews by using the frameworks laid out by the admins and mentors.
The admins, who are the Founders of the institute, are themselves alumni of one of IIMs BLACKI, who work in top-tier roles that one could dream of. This credibility is what pulled me to take their course in 2024, and I really enjoyed the experience. Success metrics are already available on their website, please check them out. On top of this, we also have Rigor-X, their most disruptive AI agent that helps us know who we are and what an interviewer may like. The idea is to get direction and a starting point to lay the roads for our journey.
The best benefit of btribe is its community. Once people get into their dream B-schools, they are already familiar with a lot of faces. They know their backgrounds and know what to expect in an MBA. Does it give an absolute edge during your MBA? No. But do you get to have an edge at least during the inital phases? Yes. The reason is we are mentored by seniors of the same institute(s) for our GDPI! They know us well once we interact with them a couple of times. To give an anecdote, seniors who mentored on btribe met their potential juniors at SP Jain interviews that happened on campus. Though it doesn't tell us anything about the result, one has already established a potential friend (yes, a friend, rather than calling it "network").
One major source of learning for me during the GDPI phase at btribe was the "bonus group review session". Everyone gets to review their SOPs in this session, and it goes on for 7-10 hours, sometimes crossing 14 hours. It is one of the most "inefficient" meetings, as the admins call it. But that's where I made friends. That's where I got clarity. I knew exactly what to write and how to write. Those sessions that dragged beyond 2:00 AM on some days was when we could also enjoy the phase. GDPI phase is the most stressful phase, but it was the most enjoyable for most of us (if not for all).
In 2024, I was able to convert IIM Shillong. This year, I was able to convert IIM Ahmedabad, Calcutta, Lucknow, Kozhikode, Shillong, and XLRI Jamshedpur (BM)! Onwards and upwards!
My suggestion -- comparing courses for GDPI prep across platforms may not be very a reliable form of finding genuine reviews. Talk to people who have been a part of btribe and ask for screenshots of their journeys. I am 100% sure you will want to experience it for yourself. Welcome to the btribe family :)))
Btribe is honestly one of the best places to prepare for GDPI.
The kind of individual attention they give is immense. It never feels like you’re just another student in a batch. They focus on every aspect of the interview process and really work with you on your strengths and weaknesses.
They provide proper study material and make sure you get enough practice. Even if a college has a slightly different process, they ensure everyone gets access to the right resources and mock sessions for it. You’re never left figuring things out on your own.
What I really liked is that every mentor brings their own perspective. You don’t just learn “one way” of answering. It helps you build your own approach, which actually makes a difference in interviews.
The admins are also always available. No matter how small the doubt is, they’re quick to respond and genuinely helpful.
Whether I convert my best call or not, I know this place has played a big role in my preparation. And if someone is consistent and puts in the effort, it’s honestly very difficult to not see results here.
I was initially skeptical, expecting it to be like other platforms with minimal guidance and just documents to read, along with some basic classes. However, Btribe pleasantly surprised me. They offer classes covering everything from building your CV to all MBA domains. They encourage self-effort and provide help when needed, without spoon-feeding. They have a large mentor network from various colleges, with available slots for general guidance, SOP reviews, mock PI sessions, and GD sessions within the platform. The comprehensive Excel sheet they provide covers most interview preparation, and you can review it with mentors or the admin. While the workbook may seem daunting, it's the level of seriousness expected for B-school admission. Overall, if you're serious about your admissions its the best investment you can do joining Btribe.

There are a magnitude of positive things and a few points of improvement that I am going to write about.
First being, the admins of the bTribe. They always respond. Sometimes quickly, sometimes a little late, but they will for sure.
Second, some mentors are absolutely brilliant. I would personally thank Sanya Goel (XLRI-J) for her guidance throughout the GDPI prep.
And third, the most important of all, being the community itself. People come together on the telegram and make sure to help you out, whether it's about forms, updates or profiles. Also the announcement channel provides the results and announcements news faster than any coaching institution.
Now, the things that need improvement. Many of the mentors are not up to the mark. The problem is that you end up wasting your limited slots with them. Another thing is, the profiles of most of them is quite similar. Majority of them are engineers with a few months/years of work experience in IT/Product. This does cater to the demand of majority of the aspirants but if you're someone with a unique profile, you might struggle to find right kind of people.
But, in my honest opinion, the positives outweigh by a heavy margin. Thus if you're someone who wants to go for GDPI Prep, I would recommend you to take it without any hesitation.
The framework and approach towards the GDPI was the best thing for me. On the very first day Admin told that leave your percentile behind, PI is not about luck it is a skill which can be learned. Could not have enrolled for a better interview prep course. It was very holistic covering all aspects one need to prepare for a b school interview with adequate number of mocks for interviews, GDs, extempore etc. Constant support from mentors was provided as well.

I was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of sessions and material, since I was also attending college during prep, that being said, i think one can choose how much material to choose, form filling feedbacks, mock PIs were quite helpful.
Maybe simplifying the process a bit to help the mental anxiety may make it a 10!
